Erik Anton Berg Register Chisels - 2 styles

Here is a comparision of 2 styles of register chisels. Both stamped Erik Anton berg

One is a 1&1/4in and the other a 1&1/2in

 

 

The 1&1/4in 

 

 

has a narrow top ferrule

 The brass ferrule is patterned

Erik is present on the chisel and not as well foemwd as the Anton Berg and didn't show in the photo

Dark stain is a knot in the wood

 

 

 

 

 

Leather washer between blade and iron ferrule

 



Blade is thick 3/8in (9mm) at the shoulder
